Returns
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order, in accordance with our warranty. After this period, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. Please note that minor imperfections are normal for handmade items. Any alteration or modification of the products will void the warranty. If you have concerns about your product, contact us via email with photos of the issue.
To return an item, you must provide proof of purchase, documentation proving the item is unused and in its original condition, and the reason for the return.
Cancellation Before Shipping
Cancellation requests must be made via email before the item is shipped. Please note that cancellations cannot always be guaranteed due to the speed of our logistics process.
Refunds (If Applicable)
To be eligible for a refund, your return must be received at our warehouse in unused condition. It will undergo inspection. If approved, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within a few business days.
Shipping fees are non-refundable if the customer fails to collect their parcel from the carrier or pickup point in time. If a return to sender is required, a payment link will be emailed to you to cover the return shipping fees.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- First, check your bank account again.
- Then contact your bank or credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- If you still haven’t received your refund after 6 business days, contact us at contact@katana-america.com.
Sale Items (If Applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.
Exchanges or Replacements
All exchanges or replacements must be requested within our 30-day warranty period by contacting us via email. To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused and in its original condition. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please email us with photos for evaluation.
Customs
Parcels sent to Europe are not subject to customs duties.
If a customer selects EMS, UPS, or SF EXPRESS and refuses or forgets to pay customs fees, the parcel will be returned to sender, and the reshipping fee will be billed to the customer.
For refunds related to customs fee refusal, a deduction of $40 USD (to cover delivery costs) will apply.
Customized or Engraved Katanas
Customized or engraved products cannot be refunded once they have entered production.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Shipping Returns
Please contact us to obtain the return address before sending your item back, and include a tracking link for your return.
We recommend using the same courier service that delivered your order to ensure faster processing.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable. If the item being returned is valued over $75 USD, we recommend using shipping insurance. Any claims for loss or damage must be filed with the carrier.
